Frequently asked questions

Even experienced travelers have a lot of questions before a new trip — and that's great! The more questions you ask during the preparation stage, the fewer surprises there will be on the route itself. In this section, we have collected the most frequently asked questions and answers about our tours. Read them and feel free to ask — we provide free consultations to all travelers.

We offer hiking, horseback riding and cycling tours. Each of them requires different levels of preparation. Special attention is paid to cycling and horseback riding tours - experience is required here. For hiking, it is enough to know how to walk. On the other hand, this does not mean that everything will be completely easy. On the first day, due to the unusual load, the hike may seem difficult. However, after a day you will get into the rhythm of the hike and feel a surge of energy.

Indeed! During the hike, we constantly monitor the well-being of the participants and adjust the load according to their capabilities. Of course, there will be more difficult sections. If you are ready for it and have no medical contraindications — we are waiting for you in the mountains!

A very common question. Think for yourself — who usually chooses such hikes? These are people who are tired of the city, want to escape to nature, but do not have enough experience or a suitable company for an independent trip. Most of our travelers work in offices (many are IT specialists), actively use the Internet, live in the capital or a big city, love nature and, in general, are good people. Bad people do not go on hikes — they have other entertainment 🙂

Are you afraid of „not fitting in“? Don’t worry — everything will be fine. Overcoming challenges together works wonders: on the second day of the hike, it will seem like you’ve known these people your whole life. From experience, we can say: the composition of the group is almost unpredictable, except for one thing — interesting and good people gather. Group size: from 3 to 15 participants, on average — about 10.

There is no single answer. In our opinion, parents can safely take children from the age of 7 for short (2-3 days) summer hikes. According to experience, children adapt to hiking conditions even more easily than adults — the main thing is that they have a good example. Much depends not on age, but on the child's behavior, health and preparation. We recommend starting with a weekend hike near home, and if you like it — go on longer hikes.

Yes, we recommend that you do this in advance. Simple tours usually fill up 3-4 days before the start. Do not delay submitting your application — there may simply be no more places left in the group. In addition, we need time to plan hotels, food, and rental equipment. Write to us as early as possible — consultations are free of charge. If you change your mind later, you can simply cancel your registration.

When and how is payment made? All tours are paid in two stages: • an advance payment (usually 50 %) is required to reserve a place in the group; • the remaining amount is paid during the trip.

Yes! We have discounts for children, large groups, and bloggers. Even if you don't fall into these categories — write about yourself, and we will definitely find a solution.

The basic costs are already included in the tour price. Additional fees may apply for entrance fees to attractions, dinners on the first and last days of some tours, and souvenirs.

Breakfast and dinner are served in hotels or in the mountains by the campfire — depending on the type of tour. We have a lunch break during the hike (fruits, vegetables, sandwiches). If you wish — we can provide a sample hike menu.

The instructor buys the basic products. If you wish, you can additionally take dried fruit or sweets for snacks during the day.

Participants carry their lunch in their backpacks. On Kyrgyz tours, all supplies are transported by an accompanying vehicle.

The routes are designed so that we reach mountain springs with clean drinking water every day. We will carry about 1.5 liters of water per person per day.

During tours with accommodation in campsites and hotels, there are showers with hot water. On tours in Kyrgyzstan, we use a special hiking shower. In addition, we often pass mountain rivers and lakes — the water is cool, but this rarely stops anyone 🙂

On remote routes, connectivity is not always available, but you will have connectivity several times during the hike, usually from the summits.

Yes, there is such a possibility for about 90 % rounds. However, we recommend having a power bank, spare batteries and using the phone's flight mode.

Yes, you can find our entire tour database on our website. We can also create an individual itinerary according to your wishes — any region, complexity and duration.

The exact meeting place and time are determined a few days before the hike, when the final group composition and arrival times of the participants are already known. We recommend arriving by 10 a.m. so that we have time to leave the settlements by evening. Be sure to write down the instructor's phone number.
